Terms & Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026
These Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy (together, the “Terms”) are issued by MV Enterprises LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as Reset for Love (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”). They govern your access to and use of Reset for Love, our online quiz and self-reflection service (the “Service”). The responses you provide and any results generated through the Service are referred to as “User Content.”
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the Service. For questions, contact us at hello@resetforlove.com.
Terms of Service
1. Eligibility and account
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Not therapy, not medical advice
The Service is an educational and reflective tool. It is not psychotherapy, medical care, crisis intervention, or any other form of regulated health service. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice or treatment. You should consult a qualified professional for any clinical, medical, legal, or financial concern. If you are in crisis or experiencing acute mental-health symptoms, please contact a licensed professional or, in the United States, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Outside the United States, use your local emergency or crisis service.
3. License to use the Service
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial reflection during the period your account is active. This license does not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.
4. Intellectual property
As between you and the Company, the Company is the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related intellectual property rights. All Materials are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other applicable laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, transmit, distribute, display, sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the Service;
- Use the Service to develop a competing or substantially similar product, course, methodology, or service;
- Record, transcribe, screenshot, or otherwise capture audio, video, or written content from the Service for the purpose of distribution, training, or commercial use;
- Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of any Materials;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, structure, or methods embodied in the Service;
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, branding, or attribution from the Service or any output of the Service.
You retain ownership of any text, selections, or other information you submit within the Service (“User Content”). You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate the Service for your benefit. This license terminates when you delete your account, except as needed to comply with law or to retain residual copies in routine backups as described in the Privacy Policy below.
5. Acceptable use
You shall not:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or otherwise harm any person, including yourself;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, any account other than your own, or any underlying system;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it; or
- Use any automated means (including scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access, copy, or extract content from the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated this Section or any other provision of these Terms. Suspension or termination is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other remedies available to us. We expressly reserve all rights and remedies available at law or in equity, including the right to seek monetary damages, injunctive or other equitable relief, recovery of attorneys’ fees where permitted by applicable law, and referral of suspected unlawful conduct to law enforcement or other competent authorities.
Privacy Policy
6. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information in connection with your use of the Service:
Account information. The email address you use to register and any preferences you set. The Service does not collect or store passwords.
User Content. Any quiz responses, selections, results, or other information you submit within the Service in the course of completing the quiz and reviewing your results.
Technical information. Standard server log information generated by your use of the Service, including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser and device characteristics, referring URLs, and timestamps of requests. We do not deploy third-party analytics services, advertising tags, or tracking pixels.
7. How we use information
We use the information described above solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. Specifically, we use it to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session;
- Render your User Content back to you within the Service, including any quiz results you generate;
- Communicate with you about your account, including sign-in links and confirmations of changes you initiate;
- Diagnose technical issues, secure the Service against abuse, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your User Content for advertising or marketing purposes.
8. Service providers
We engage third-party service providers to operate the Service. Each provider processes personal information only on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent necessary to deliver its service. The categories of providers we use include:
- Transactional email delivery;
- Quiz and form delivery services.
A current list of the specific service providers we engage is available upon written request to the contact address in Section 15. We may add, change, or remove providers from time to time. We will update these Terms where any such change materially alters how personal information is processed. We do not share your personal information with any party other than the providers described in this Section, except where required by applicable law.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
The Service uses a strictly necessary session cookie to maintain your authenticated state. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts, fingerprinting technologies, or other tracking mechanisms.
10. Data retention
We retain your User Content for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete your User Content from our active production systems within thirty (30) days of receiving your request. Limited residual copies may persist in routine encrypted backups for up to ninety (90) additional days, after which they are overwritten in the ordinary course of business.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request a copy of your User Content in a portable, machine-readable format;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@resetforlove.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where applicable law specifies a response window, within that window. Users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation; residents of California have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor these rights to the extent they apply.
12. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include transport encryption (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and the use of one-time email links in lieu of passwords. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or stored by the Service. In the event of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
13. Children
The Service is intended for adult use only. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any individual under the age of eighteen. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
14. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email prior to taking effect. The “Effective date” at the top of these Terms will always reflect the current version. Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
